Bela Himelfarb

Bela is a business administrator passionate about international business and foreign trade, with expertise in the gastronomic sector as a consultant for foreign commercial missions. Her commitment to Zionist values shapes her leadership as Executive Director of Maccabi Colombia.

Her journey with Maccabi has been enriching, providing her with a profound sense of community and purpose. She has been instrumental in fostering connections with inspiring women and was pivotal in bringing the largest delegation ever from Colombia to the Maccabiah Games (M21). Her dedication continued as she led her community to organize the Torneo Macabeo eight years later, allowing youth to experience the spirit of the Maccabiah Games. 

Bela is happily married to Henry Akerman, and they are proud parents of 23-year-old twins, Mijal and Eli.
