The MWU Women's Forum was founded to advocate globally for issues pertinent to women and their perspectives, advance women's leadership, and enhance their representation in pivotal roles within the movement.
We aim to strengthen ties between Israel and Jewish communities worldwide, fostering a global network of empowered women leaders.
Our missions
To shape the future of Maccabi World Union and Women's Leadership within the movement by
- Increasing women's representation in territorial and local management positions
- Enhancing women's participation in central leadership roles
- Promoting Women's Leadership in sports
- Advancing Leadership skills among the next generation of Women Leaders
To strengthen ties between Israel and Jewish communities by
- Launching international projects tailored to current needs, benefiting Israel and Jewish communities worldwide
- Establishing a strong women's network - 100 women in 100 cities
Support and elevate issues relevant to Women and the female perspective
Our Modes of Action:
- Leadership Presence and Significant Roles:
- Proposing amendments for the MWU constitution to promote women's inclusion
- Implementing a strategic plan to progressively integrate more women over the coming years.
- Leadership Development Programs:
Collaborating with the MWU education & sports departments, and territorial desks. - International projects
Once a year, we will select a prominent global project. - Annual Maccabi Women’s Forum Summit
An inspiring global gathering held annually in a different city, aiming to:- Foster continuity, engagement, and a sense of belonging among forum participants.
- Actualize the Maccabi Women’s Forum mission to establish a vibrant Global Network of Women Leaders.
- Serve as a compelling marketing tool for the 100 Women in 100 Cities initiative worldwide.
- Provide unique value not offered by other organizations to all attendees.
- Create a platform for sharing experiences, collaborative projects, and fostering personal and professional growth in leadership.
- Renew motivation, empower, and inspire women to be part of an extraordinary movement.
