Debbie Friedman

Originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, Debbie now calls Frankfurt, Germany home. She holds a BA in Advertising Design from Yeshiva University in New York and has worked with Israeli advertising firms, gaining rich industry experience.

An active athlete in Maccabi Colombia from childhood, Debbie’s Maccabi journey expanded when she volunteered at the 13th Maccabiah in Israel (1989), where she met her husband, an athlete who managed the Maccabi Germany tennis team.

For four years, from 2019 to 2023, Debbie was part of Maccabi Deutschland, working in the international relations administration desk.

Debbie is married and has one daughter, Yael, who lives and works in Tel Aviv
