MWU Women Speak Up
The 'MWU Women Speak Up' global campaign, led by MWU women in various Jewish communities worldwide, was launched to raise awareness about Hamas's sexual violence against women and men on October 7th.
By providing women access to information, documentation, and evidence, the campaign aimed to expose the atrocities committed by Hamas.
Initiated in response to the perceived silence of women's organizations globally, it received significant feedback and high levels of engagement: 11.9 million exposures and 11,700 clicks by early 2024.
Netherlands Deputy Prime Minister Carola Schouten and Christian Union Party Leader Mirjam Bikker publicly supported the campaign.

Additionally, a demonstration in Berlin on April 7th, 2024, advocating for the release of abductees, also aligned with our call against sexual terrorism.

Furthermore, during the FLF seminar in Paris on March 15th, 2024, a meeting was held to enhance awareness and foster collaboration on this critical issue.

Our second media campaign focused on the immediate release of female hostages taken by Hamas and raising awareness about sexual violence against women and girls perpetrated by Hamas. This crucial initiative featured Sheryl Sandberg's powerful documentary 'Screams before Silence', which exposed the Hamas atrocities of October 7, and quickly went viral, achieving 19.6 million exposures and generating 22,857 clicks.
